Job Search Tips Inspired By Dale Carnegie's "How To Win Friends And Influence People"
My dad gave me his copy of Dale Carnegie's "How To Win Friends And Influence People" when I was in high school, and it played a huge role in my choosing to pursue a degree in Mass Communications, with an eye on a career in Public Relations.
Life isn't linear, and neither are careers, and here I am, after pivoting from advertising, marketing and PR into sales, into recruiting and finally, into career coaching, and what I learned from Dale Carnegie when I was 15 are still the very same ones I've taken and used over and over again to this very day.
Job searching is a marathon, not a sprint.
Eye on the prize. Stay inspired!
